The Aston Martin Vantage became famous worldwide for being James Bonds' ride and keeps its popularity for its sleek finish and explosive speed. The 2023 Aston Martin Vantage V-12 will be the last of its model line, making it the last model with the largest engine and the smallest sports car. There will be 333 Vantages produced, and all have sold out within days of its announcement. This foreign British sports car has created the most affordable line of their markup with the base Vantage. It includes customization options to personalize swagger in a sports car truly. Here's everything you need to know about this British supercar.

1 The 500-Horsepower Vantage F1 Edition is Explosive

The Aston Martin Vantage F1 Edition features a 4.0-liter, twin-turbo V-8 engine paired with an eight-speed automatic and optional manual mode. Its engine features 503 horsepower at 6,000 RPM and 505 pound-feet of torque at 2,000 RPM. The Vantage 2023 collaborates with Mercedes, as the AMT GT and the Vantage 2023 share the same engine. The Vantage F1 Edition is track-ready, as it is lightweight. The F1 also features a double-wishbone front suspension with coil springs and gas-pressurized shock absorbers.

Aston Martin will offer the 2023 V12 Vantage with a 5.2-liter, twin-turbo V-12. This engine impresses with 690 horsepower and 555 pound-feet of torque. It also features large carbon-ceramic brakes for complete stopping control and quick, responsive handling. The carbon-ceramic brakes are incredible for the track but touchy for every day commuting. With an automatic transmission, the Vantage is not as gas-guzzling as one might imagine. The Vantage gets 18 miles to the gallon in the city and 24 miles to the gallon on the highway.

3 Aston Martin Is Blessed With The Mercedes-AMG Engines

Aston Martin has been producing and selling vehicles for more than a century. It has also struggled to keep afloat more than seven times in its history, and currently, its finances aren't too hot. Mercedes has invested in Aston Martin, which is why the Aston Martin Vantage and the Mercedes AMG GT share the same engine. New administrative changes, such as Tobias Moers being appointed Aston's CEO, the former CEO of Mercedes-AMG, and new product waves powered by Mercedes turbocharged engines are the hope of a financial upswing for Aston Martin now.

4 Multiple Drive Modes To Give The Vantage Different Personalities

There are multiple modes that the driver can use to dictate the Aston Martin Vantage's powertrain system efficiently. There are three on offer, namely Sport+ Mode and Track Mode. These settings calibrate the Aston's center-mounted tachometer: Sport+ dials up the volume on the explosive exhaust. In Track Mode, the exhaust crackles and pops with excitement for the drag strip. The three suspension settings have less noticeable changes. The Aston Martin Vantage is bringing Tobias Moers another round of financial luck with its impressive speed and quality track handling.

5 The Vantage Can Keep Up With The Likes Of The 911 And The Roma

This vehicle competes with similar sports cars like the Porshe 911, Mercedes-AMT GT, and the Ferrari Roma. The V12 Vantage can go 0-60 in 3.4 seconds, whereas the Vantage F1 Roadster can go 0-60 in 3.6 seconds. The aggressive acceleration of this sports car is coupled with the quality chassis and provides a thrilling ride. The Aston Martin base V12 Vantage can go 0-60 in 3.2 seconds and 0-100 in 7 seconds. Per the manufacturer's claim, it completes a 1/4 mile in 10.7 seconds and boasts a top speed of 200 miles per hour.

6 The Aston Martin Vantage Looks Exquisite In All Body Styles

The Aston Martin Vantage 2023 is 177.7 inches long, 77.2 inches wide, and 50.2 inches tall. Its wheelbase is 106.5 inches long, and weighs less than 4,000 pounds. There is little space inside the Vantage 2023 at 47 cubic feet. The Roadster edition has a smaller trunk than a coupe, but from my research, all Aston Martin Vantage editions have trunks large enough for a full-sized golf bag.

7 The Vantage Doesn't Come With A Lot Of Standard Goodies

For the price tag, the interior of the Vantage does not quite meet the luxury price tag the car boasts. However, interior luxury add-ons are available. The Vantage coupe has a hardtop compared to the convertible version's soft top add-on option that is power-operated and folds and unfolds in less than seven seconds. The Vantage also features an electronically controlled limited-slip differential system on all editions. On the dashboard of all Vantage models is an eight-inch display. An upgraded system with touchscreen capabilities is optional as an add-on.

8 The Vantage's Cabin Is Sporty And Luxurious

Aston Martin has plenty of add-ons to its Vantage. For the interior, these additions include heated and ventilated seats and embroidered headrests, to name a few. All Vantage editions include a cockpit lined with leather and faux suede and sports seats with power adjustments and memory settings. When traveling at higher speeds, the noise of the joyride remains inside the ride, something often complained about with carbon-roofed coupes. Besides the shallow center console and standard door cubbies, there is little extra room for storage.

The Vantage editions boast safety features compliant with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. The 360-degree camera system, blind spot monitoring alarm, and self-parking assist are all options to increase safety within the Aston Martin Vantage. Aston Martin properly pairs racing and track performance upgrades with safety features like a sturdy chassis and a protected engine.
